1) Early design services and security
Your design will benefit greatly from early involvement with Apex when considering 3DMPSTM. New methods of fabrication and problem solving can be leveraged to provide the optimum solution for complex initial design goals. Please call Apex to discuss your application as early as possible, preferably before the parts have already been tooled, molded, and while changes can be made. Although some existing molded parts can benefit from 3DMPSTM, the most benefit comes from early involvement of Apex with your design team.

2) 3D CAD services
Apex uses sophisiticated 3D mechanical CAD design tools (primarily Unigraphics) to assist with modeling and fabrication of individual parts and assemblies of several parts. Seamless 3D CAD designs result from closely coupled work while simultaneously using solids, curves, surfaces, wireframes, sometimes even pictures. Most applications can be modified and transferred to/from your CAD system to Apex using various "standard" formats such as iges, step, dxf, parasolids, etc. All popular mechanical CAD systems can be used with Apex 3DMPSTM, simply call (see numbers above or contacts) to discuss the specifics. 3) Prototypes and General Services
Apex can provide quick prototypes for your 3DMPSTM application. Molded prototypes can be designed and very accurately molded (using a quick-turn contract molder) for most designs in as little as 2 weeks, while also providing the best results and representative properties for the actual production parts.
Preparation and plating of prototypes at Apex can use a wide range of processes- from chemical treatments to plasma etching and cleaning thru final examination of results.
CNC machined protoypes can also be fabricated at Apex, sometimes this is the best method for a few quick parts but this decision hinges on the materials, design goals, and required volume of protos for testing.
As part of prototype testing, Apex can also provide detailed analysis of your parts from gross properties including tensile testing, material properties, and dimensional measurements. Electrical testing is also available including AC and DC analysis- including conventional antenna and RF network analyzer testing from 1MHz to 2GHz.
4) 3DMPSTM Licensing arrangements
If your company is interested in producing these exciting new 3D circuits, licenses are available from Apex. Ideal candidate manufacturing facilities for 3DMPSTM technology will have experience and machinery related to one or more of the following: printed circuit boards (PCB), chip packaging, plating, and chemical processes.
